23 June 2020
Today is the final day that we will operate Borland Medi-Clinic due to my Emergency and Hospitalist schedules. We are in the process of moving to the Okanagon and as you can imagine, we have many tasks that requires completion before our move. We apologize for the early closure, but there was some late unanticipated changes in my schedule that forced me to close today rather than on 1 July 2020. Those that submitted USB devices are encouraged to pick them up today.

It is with sadness that I am writing this today, in the midst of a pandemic that is changing human history as we know it. In 2018, we embarked on a journey to open a walk-in clinic in the community of Williams Lake. We embraced this opportunity to provide those with and without a family physician with a medical home and registered just over 6000 people since we opened our doors in April 2018.
In July 2020, I will be relocating to the Okanagan to pursue a career in Hospitalist Medicine and be closer to family.
It was an absolute pleasure being part of your lives for the last 5 years and I will miss you all dearly. Below, are a few questions and answers that you may have. We will be happy to answer any other questions that are not answered below, by submitting them through our online portal.

At this time, no physicians in town are taking on new patients. We will be able to transfer your chart to a USB drive that you can keep with you until a new physician is accepting patients in the community.
Unfortunately, the walk-in service will no longer be available from 23 June 2020.
Dr Schreve will continue to check results and be in contact with patients until 31 December 2020. The online portal will be maintained until this date.
